Parameter Sensitivity

We varied the time for treatment dose using a ten day interval.

Figure 1: Pulsed anti-tumor treatment starting at t = 40

Figure one shows pulsed dosage over an 80-day period. The solid lines represent the tumor volume, while the dashed lines show the carrying capacity. The green curves model weaker treatment while the black curves model stronger treatment.

After treatment begins, both the tumor size and carrying capacity have steep drops each time a dose is administered, with the stronger treatments dropping more sharply. However, between treatments the graph  , showing that the effect of the drug wears off over time. The rise and fall of the carrying capacity reflects the delayed response in the tumor blood supply

Figure 2: Effect of varying anti-tumor treatment strength

The graph describes the different effects of the treatment strength on the tumor size over time. According to the graph, higher treatment strength leads to faster tumor shrinkage, with all the graphs following an exponential decay trend

Figure 3: Effect of varying anti-angiogenic treatment strength

The graph illustrates the behavior of the tumor size and carrying capacity as the strength of the anti-angiogenic treatment(v) is increased. It is seen that after day 40, the tumor volume levels off, indicating that slowing down as if reaching a limit over time. From both graphs it is seen that as v increases the value at which it levels off decreases.
